Five steps to stop moral rage

Hope4Families August 26, 2022

Practice non-judgmental awareness of the other person and his/her values.

Ask yourself what other ways you can handle a violation of your values rather than going into a rage.

Accept the whole person even if he/she does some things you think are very bad.

Separate your value from your emotions. It’s important to have values you believe in but you need to
think about them and champion them with logic rather than emotion.

Consider how old you were when you learned your values. Early values often feel sacred and anyone
who violates them is seen as evil.
