From Sorrow to Strength! A Retreat for Alienated Parents

THE CHALLENGE OF RELATIONSHIPS

In our society, with the pressures of demands from work and a heightened sense of the need for health and healing, high conflict families are hurting more than ever before.

As we adapt to the COVID health emergency, the situation may seem even more hopeless.This ecumenical retreat helps parents enduring high conflict relationships by providing the tools they need to renew their faith resources, so that they might bring their best to their relationships. If you are feeling at your wits end, a retreat with parent peers and mentors can help.

THE WEEKEND

The weekend experience consists of seminars focused on post traumatic growth syndrome by professionals and peers who understand the dynamic of high conflict families. One of the most powerful resources is resiliency and faith. The weekend is not a spiritual retreat in a traditional sense nor a social gathering, and it is certainly not a substitute for counseling and treatment. It is a confidential weekend where you are allowed to put the past behind you, and set aside the pain in order to reach out to your child in a new and productive way by healing yourself.

Forgiveness and Trust

Managing Conflict

Collateral Damage of Parental Alienation

Parents Are Meant To Be a Gift To Their Children

Schedule: Friday: optional evening Meet and Greet, Saturday: 9 am – 3 pm sessions at The ResolutionCenter of Jacksonville (virtual Zoom option available), Beach time and Dinner, Sunday 1030– noon pm finale and departure
