Divorce is negatively attributed in all aspects but to some, it has some positive side too. In the article “Stay Together for the Kids? When Divorce Might Benefit Everyone.”, it was said that kids of divorce are more likely to develop increased empathy towards others. These children are more open and accepting of situations and problems being experienced by others. They are resilient and can adjust, because of their experience they have developed coping strategies in different situations. Also, they become self-sufficient given the fact that their financial stability is affected. More likely both parents will have to work and the children will have times that they will be left at home to do household chores, this will give them a sense of responsibility at any age. Also, they can value marriage that they will likely not tend to get married easily but have to make their own relationship work.
