I am here to provide families a reliable, organized visitation or exchange program. The children's best interest will be the basis of all programs, with input from both parents. Programs will include, Orientation (both parents and child(ren)), Visitation or Exchange, and Court Reports.
Once I am contacted for service, I will call both the custodial parent and the noncustodial parent. We will make an appointment, with each parent, for their orientation, either for the same day or within the same week. At each Orientation, the parent will fill out a questionaire and receive an information sheet, explaining rules and expectations for the program. Parents will be asked to bring all paperwork, including current court order, most recent FCS report, any TRO or RO and other paperwork necessary for scheduling. I do request that the custodial parent bring the child(ren) along, as to give me a chance to meet him/her and make a connection before visitations/exchanges begin. Once we have met, I will call each parent with a possible schedule and confirm days and times. As soon as the schedule is set, visitations or exchanges will begin.
(Orientations may be waived if ok with both parties)
I will make arrangements with the custodial parent to pick up the child(ren) at a set time before the scheduled visitation. I will then transport the child(ren) to the noncustodial parent, location depending on court order or pre-planned activity. I will closely monitor the visitation from start to finish without interference, as long as all parties follow agreed-upon rules. When set time is over, I will then return the child(ren) to the custodial parent.
Exchange times and places will be pre-determined. I will arrive at the location prior to set time. Once the custodial parent and the noncustodial parent arrive, I will closely monitor the exchange without interference, as long as all parties follow the agreed-upon rules. The second exchange will happen in the same manner.
During each visitation or exchange, I will be noting everything I witness. These notes will then be typed up after the visitation or exchange and saved in the family's file. If there is a request for a court report, a copy will be sent to each parent and the court. If either parent's lawyer requests the report, a copy will still be sent to the parent. Any protected information (ie schools, addresses, etc.) will be taken out of the report.
Orientations
Visitations
Exchanges
Court Reports
Cancellations and No-Shows will be covered in Orientation
Each parent will be required to follow rules, in regards to visitations/exchanges and payments. If there is an issue with either, the visitation/exchange program will be suspended or stopped and the parents' lawyers and/or the court will be notified.
I am not here to be the bad guy. I understand the emotions in these situations. I am providing a safe and dependable service to families. I am here for the child(ren)'s best interest.
If you are interested in making an appointment with me for an Orientation, or just want more information, please feel free to contact me.
